In development

A calmer desk,
on purpose.

The Focus Reset Kit is a small, proposed set from Northline Workspace: a desktop timer, a larger tray, and access to a digital workspace-planning tool. Three things — chosen so your desk has fewer.

  • Desktop timer
  • Larger tray
  • Workspace-planning tool access

The Focus Reset Kit is not finished. Pricing, availability, and ordering details have not been set, and this page doesn’t pretend otherwise — the open questions are listed below.

What’s inside

Three things. That’s the whole kit.

Each part is listed below exactly as it stands today — what it is, and why we put it in. Where a detail hasn’t been decided, we’ve said so instead of filling the gap.

01

A desktop timer

What it is

A timer that sits on the desk. It is one of the three items in the kit.

Why it’s in the kit

Our intent is simple: give the clock a physical home, so deciding how long to work on something is a thing you do with your hands rather than another window to open.

02

A larger tray

What it is

A tray, larger than the small catch-alls most desks accumulate. It is the second of the three items.

Why it’s in the kit

Because a desk gets loud when everything has no address. One roomy place to set things down is the quietest fix we could think of.

03

Access to a digital workspace-planning tool

What it is

Access to a digital tool for planning a workspace. That access is included with the kit — it is the third of the three items.

Why it’s in the kit

Arranging a desk on a screen first is cheaper than moving furniture twice. We’re not claiming the access is permanent, and we won’t until we can.

The idea

A reset is a small, repeatable act.

The kit isn’t a system to learn. It’s three objects that make one ordinary habit — clearing the desk and choosing what’s next — easier to actually repeat.

  1. Plan the surface

Use the workspace-planning tool to try an arrangement before you commit to it — where the tray sits, what stays out, what doesn’t.

  2. Give things one place

The larger tray becomes the desk’s single landing spot, so clearing up is one motion instead of a decision about each object.

  3. Set the timer, then begin

Choose how long you’re spending on the thing in front of you, set it on the desk, and start. When it ends, you reset the surface and pick again.

Who it’s for

People whose desk is also their headquarters.

Northline Workspace makes calm, practical desk organisation for people who work largely from one surface. The Focus Reset Kit is aimed at four of them.

Remote professionals

Home and office are the same room. The desk is where the line between them gets drawn — or doesn’t.

Consultants

Several clients, several contexts, one surface that has to switch cleanly between them all week.

Founders

More open threads than hours. The desk is one of the few parts of the day you get to decide.

Managers

A day assembled from other people’s calendars, with short gaps that have to be usable.

Still open

What we haven’t decided yet.

Most product pages only show the settled parts. Since the Focus Reset Kit is still in development, here is the other half — the things we genuinely don’t know, written plainly so nobody has to guess.

  • The price

Not set. We’re not quoting a figure, a range, or a “starting at” number until the price is real.

  • When you could buy it

No launch date, no pre-order, and no shipping arrangements to describe yet.

  • How long the planning tool stays available

Access is part of the kit, but we aren’t promising it lasts indefinitely. If that changes in either direction, we’ll say so here.

  • Sizes, materials, and finish

The illustrations on this page show a direction, not a specification. Dimensions and materials aren’t final.

  • Returns, warranty, and replacements

There’s nothing to describe yet, so there’s nothing here. Any policy will be published before anything is sold.

  • What it will do for you

We’re describing intent, not outcomes. No claims about focus, wellbeing, output, or health — those aren’t ours to make.

This page will be updated as decisions get made, and the list above should get shorter over time.

Stay in the loop

Follow the Focus Reset Kit as it takes shape.

Leave an email address and we’ll write when there’s something real to report — decisions made, details settled, questions closed.

This is a page about a product in development. It isn’t an offer for sale, there is nothing to order yet, and no price has been set. See what we haven’t decided.
